From Now On Adds Winona State to Growing NCAA Division II Client Roster

OMAHA, Neb.– From Now On, an emerging leader in mobile app technology for fan engagement, today announced a new partnership with Winona State University to provide the official mobile app for Warriors fans. The multi-year agreement is effective immediately, and will see the new mobile app going live in July, in time for the 2017-2018 athletics calendar.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with From Now On to take the Winona State fan experience to the next level” said Winona State Director of Athletics Eric Schoh. “We know not a lot of NCAA Division II schools are utilizing mobile technology to enhance fan engagement and we look forward to helping lead the charge for fans of all schools in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference [NSIC], and Division II as a whole.”
From Now On, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IT talent and solutions firm Client Resources Inc. (CRi), will build and deploy the Winona State app via the FanX mobile platform. First launched in late 2015, FanX is a mobile marketing and communication platform designed to the fan experience both at live events and via second screen experience for fans at home or on-the-go. When launched, the Winona State app will include team schedules and rosters, scores and statistics, live game alerts and push notifications, as well as access to audio, video and social media streams.
The mobile app will also be a key new promotional channel for the Winona State athletic department, adding multiple new opportunities for corporate sponsors and serving up exclusive promotions for fans.

Additionally, Thaden went on to share a belief that Winona State is representative of a growing trend in college athletics, saying “This is an exciting time to be working in sports technology. We are also seeing corporate entities who are looking for new opportunities in the digital space. Together, these trends are driving adoption of new technologies by generating revenue and covering costs for athletic departments at all levels of the game.”
Winona State is the latest Division II school looking to enhance their digital media profile for fans through the FanX mobile platform. Other Division II schools who have recently signed with From Now On include Missouri Southern State University, Pittsburg State University, Northeastern State University, Cameron University, University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, Arkansas Tech University and Oklahoma Christian University.
In addition to the annual license for the FanX platform, Winona State’s agreement includes professional services for implementation, launch and marketing support, staff training and an assigned contact for mobile adoption coaching. Additionally, Winona State will benefit from regularly delivered mobile analytics and reporting.
The new Winona State Warriors app will be available for free download via the App Store and Google Play in July 2017.
